O Único e a sua Propriedade
Author
Max Stirner
Synopsis
Credited with influencing the philosophies of Nietzsche and Ayn Rand and the development of libertarianism and existentialism, this prophetic 1844 work challenges the very notion of a common good as the driving force of civilization. By examining the role of the human ego, author Max Stirner chronicles the battle of the individual against the collective — showing how, throughout history, the latter invariably leads to oppression.
Stirner begins with a study of the individual ego and then traces its subjugation from ancient times to the nineteenth century. Nothing escapes his indictment: the ancient philosophers, Christianity, monarchism, the bourgeois state; all have fettered individuals with laws, morality, and obligations. Revolutions expunge one evil only to replace it with another, and Stirner predicted — years before the publication of Marx's Manifesto — that socialism would climax in the ultimate totalitarian state.
For students of political science and philosophy, this book is essential reading. For those concerned about the encroachment of authority upon individual liberty, Stirner articulates a philosophy that remains unsurpassed in its scope.

Já não há nada
Author
Léo Ferré
Synopsis
His satirical humor undoes language, religion, marriage, urbanism, power and the exploitation of labor but also revolts and revolutions recovered and digested. This poem was important to many people who heard it: it makes you think. It is almost a summary of Ferré's thought at a given historical moment. It is the first Portuguese translation. After his concert at the Coliseu dos Recreios in Lisbon in 1982, several texts - prose and poetry - were published and published by Ulmeiro in 1984.
This larger poem is missing. His writing is a fierce, touching beauty with phrases phrased, unexpected, elided, filled with neologisms, popular expressions and slang. He is a great poet and singer to discover.

Accursio Soldano

After a long and tiresome train journey through Sicily, Alberto Caeiro and his strange traveling companion arrive at a village on the South-West coast of the island, with the intention of visiting Filippo, an old sculptor of whom they have heard about.
Between Caeiro and this sullen Sicilian artist-peasant, sculpting heads on the rocks and trees of his farm overlooking the Mediterranean, a singular dialogue is established, the guiding thread of this amazing meeting in a land of farmers and fishermen. Under the burning sun of Sicily, the two travelers enter a labyrinthine world of ancestral tales and beliefs, traversing the narrow paths that separate reality from illusion.

We, The Family
Author
Luciane Valles
Synopsis
The collection “We, The Family” shows us images that reflect family moments in which complicity goes hand in hand with light, color, and framing. Whether they are family portraits or discreet observations of a newborn, the “lens” always gives us a story. Not necessarily a beautiful one, a bedtime story or a fairy tale, but certainly a story that was lived, in which every moment is a unique moment that deserves
to be eternalized. The collection offers, through the eyes of different carefully selected photographers, different approaches to the theme “family”, centered mainly on childhood, both in places of daily living and in unexpected incursions into places of regular or occasional passage.

One City. One Name
Author
Luis Mileu
Synopsis
The collection “One City. One Name” shows us the world and its cities through the eyes of several photographers with different approaches and visual languages. It intends to be a show of unique visions that reflect not only the city and its inhabitants, but also the personality of the one who observes and captures them in an image. The personal and professional background of each of these photographers influences their vision and shapes the books, showing the cities in a non-traditional way, without tourist or more obvious clichés. The approach may be critical or compliant, but it is never ordinary, and it will help us look at different places in an exclusive way. These are world travels in the arms of beauty and uniqueness.

No color? No Fun
Author
Tiago Galo
Synopsis
The collection “No Color? No Fun” is a tribute to contemporary illustration with a special focus on the use of color as a key element of the illustrated object. Color, for these artists, is not merely a secondary observer, but rather a leading actor that is strongly present. It partners
with the traits that create characters, frames, and landscapes. Color does not exist in a disguised way, and it helps to create differentiation, to convey fun and drama. High contrast and reduced palettes are not impediments to showing personality and uniqueness. We hope that you find on this set of pages and authors the values that we consider fundamental for a good illustration: technique, surprise, and beauty.
